The following is a description of the Route to climb Mount Carrigain via the Signal Ridge Trail.   To reach the trail head take route 302 to Sawyer River Road and follow the dirt road for approximately 2 miles where you will reach the parking lot on the left-hand side.    The trail head is on the opposite side of the road from the parking lot.  The road is closed in winters so if you hike at that time of the year you will need to park in the lot at 302 and will add an extra 4 miles to the hike (~2 in and ~2 out).
